Computer embroidery — a professional technique for marking clothing and promotional items

Computer embroidery is one of the most durable, elegant, and effective methods of personalizing clothing and textiles. Thanks to precise computer software and modern embroidery machines, it is possible to faithfully reproduce logos, symbols, monograms, and even very complex graphic details. Embroidery is characterized by exceptional resistance to washing, abrasion, and intensive use, which is why it is the most popular choice for marking company, work, and promotional clothing, as well as caps, fleece jackets, backpacks, and fabric bags.

Why choose computer embroidery?

Durability:

Embroidery is created with polyester or polyamide threads, which retain their color and structure even after many washes. It does not crack, peel off, or fade, making it one of the most durable marking methods.

Elegance and premium effect:

Embroidery creates a three-dimensional, noble structure that adds class to any product. A logo made with embroidery looks professional and enhances the prestige of the brand.

Precision of details:

Modern machines allow for the creation of fine contours, thin lines, and small graphic elements that are difficult to achieve with standard printing.

Versatile applications:

Embroidery is perfect for towels, polo shirts, sweatshirts, fleece jackets, jackets, winter hats, baseball caps, fabric bags, backpacks, and company textiles.

Materials and preparation of the design for embroidery

The best results are achieved on non-elastic or slightly elastic materials, such as:

cotton, polyester, cotton-polyester blends, fleece, softshell and outdoor fabrics.

To prepare the embroidery, you need a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF) or high-quality graphics. The details must be of sufficient thickness, as embroidery machines have limitations on the minimum stitch width.

Top-class embroidery — we work with Tajima machines

At Printexpress.pl, we only use Tajima embroidery machines — the undisputed global leader in embroidery technology. This equipment is chosen by the best embroidery shops in the world.

Thanks to Tajima, you get:

  • perfect reproduction of even the smallest logos,
  • an even, dense embroidery structure without gaps,
  • repeatability for large series,
  • the ability to embroider even on difficult, thick, or elastic materials.

It is thanks to Tajima technology that our embroidery stands out with its premium quality, valued by companies from all over Poland and Europe.

The highest quality threads — original Madeira threads

We use only Madeira threads for embroidery production — one of the best embroidery threads in the world. They are famous for their exceptional durability, color fastness, and intense shine.

Madeira threads ensure:

  • resistance to washing, even at high temperatures,
  • UV resistance (colors do not fade),
  • resistance to abrasion and elastic deformation,
  • perfect stitch uniformity,
  • hundreds of colors, including metallic and effect threads.

The combination of Tajima machines and Madeira threads allows us to achieve the highest standard of embroidery available on the market.

The use of computer embroidery

Embroidery is irreplaceable wherever durability and prestige of workmanship are important. It is most often used for marking:

Embroidery does not lose its quality even with intensive use — it is an investment for years to come.

Advantages of computer embroidery compared to other marking techniques

Embroidery stands out from other marking methods due to its durability, resistance, and 3D effect. Unlike ink or foil-based prints, embroidery does not crack, peel off, or lose its color.

Screen printing works best for large quantities, flat surfaces, and simple graphics. Its disadvantage is its lower abrasion resistance and the risk of cracking on flexible materials.

DTF digital printing is a technique suitable for full-color graphics, short runs, and details. However, it creates a film on the fabric that can wear out with intensive use.

UV printing is recommended for hard items such as plastic, metal, or glass. However, it is not suitable for clothing because the print cracks when the fabric is bent.

Sublimation works best on light-colored polyester and for photo prints. It does not work well on cotton, fleece, or thick fabrics.

Advantages of computer embroidery compared to the above techniques:

  • high durability and resistance to washing.
  • much greater durability,
  • premium effect and elegance,
  • ideal for thick materials (e.g., fleece, softshell),
  • no risk of cracking,
  • the material breathes — no film or glue,
  • 100% resistance to cracking,
  • maximum durability,
  • professional, elegant look,
  • works great on fabrics and elastic materials,
  • resistance to stretching and bending,
  • natural look without a stiff surface,
  • great versatility of materials,
  • premium effect — perfect for logos

The price of computer embroidery is calculated individually

The price of embroidery depends on the number of stitches in a given design, i.e., on the appearance of the graphics and the size to be embroidered. For a quote, we need a logo or graphics in vector format. Please contact us for a quote. For more information, see our price list for computer embroidery.

Embroidered and printed patches — the perfect solution when direct embroidery is not possible

In situations where embroidery directly on the material is difficult or impossible (e.g., due to the structure of the fabric, the location of the graphics, or technical limitations), patches are an excellent alternative. They are a durable, aesthetic, and very versatile solution that works well on many types of clothing and accessories. At Printexpress.pl, we produce two types of patches:

1. Embroidered patches

This is the classic, most elegant form of marking. We embroider the graphics directly onto the base material, then make an embroidered border and cut out the finished patch along the outline. Embroidered patches can be:

  • sewn on by yourself to any garment,
  • entrusted to us for sewing onto the specified product.

They work great on hats, jackets, backpacks, workwear, and streetwear.

We make them in quantities of 20 or more.

2. Printed patches (print + embroidered border)

This is the best solution for designs that have a lot of colors, gradients, or very fine details. First, we print on the material, then we embroider around it and cut it out along the outline. This makes the patch look aesthetically pleasing and allows us to reproduce even very complex graphics.

We also produce printed patches from 20 pieces.

3D embroidery (puff) — a premium effect for caps and sportswear

3D embroidery, also known as puff embroidery, is a marking technique that allows you to obtain a clearly convex, three-dimensional structure of a logo or inscription. The effect is achieved by using a special foam placed under the thread layer, which gives a characteristic, raised relief and makes the design stand out from a distance. 3D embroidery is most often used on baseball caps, streetwear, sweatshirts, and premium products, where visual impact and strong brand identification are key.

This technique is particularly popular among fashion brands, sports clubs, and companies creating their own merchandise, as logos made with 3D embroidery look modern, exclusive, and eye-catching. Puff embroidery perfectly highlights simple logos, large letters, and minimalist designs, giving them a unique character that cannot be achieved with flat printing methods. If a brand wants to stand out on the market and emphasize its prestige, 3D embroidery is one of the best possible choices.
