Why do we need a design for a print quote?

The answer is simple – if we don’t know what we are pricing then we can’t give a price 🙂

The price is a component between the printing technique, the number of colors in the design and the number of pieces ordered.

In order to determine what method we are going to print with we need to receive a design. Then one of our specialists will help you choose the best technique and determine the number of colors. In response, you will receive a quote and information on how we will print.

  • after strong crushing it returns to its original state
  • washable up to 40 degrees Celsius

Digital printing DTF

  • slightly perceptible to the touch
  • does not let air or water pass through it
  • resistant to gentle stretching and crushing
  • after strong crushing it returns to its original state
  • washable up to 30 degrees Celsius

SUBLI-FLOCK

  • print in the form of smooth mesh
  • slightly rough
  • does not transmit air or water
  • cracks when strongly stretched
  • remains slightly creased after strong crushing
  • washable up to 40 degrees Celsius

SUBLIMATION – only on materials with a minimum composition of 60% polyester

  • completely imperceptible to the touch
  • the print dyes the fiber of the T-shirt (goes into the structure of the material)
  • permeable to air and water
  • full resistance to stretching
  • after strong crushing it returns to its original state
  • washable up to 80 degrees Celsius

Why do we need to do a trial run before executing an order on entrusted products?

Regardless of the technique, all our prints are fixed at a high temperature of about 170 – 200 degrees Celsius. This is why they are so durable. Printing on entrusted clothing we do not know what its reaction to such temperature will be.

That’s why we have to make a test before realizing the order. We perform it on a very small part so we know that we will not damage the customer’s clothing.

We do not take responsibility for any damage to the entrusted goods, because we do not know the material and cannot predict how it will behave in contact with the hot press.

Is there a "standard size" of clothing? How to choose the right size for yourself?

There is no such thing as a “standard size”. Each clothing manufacturer creates its own sizing based on which it sews its clothes.

We offer about 50 different brands of clothing which means 50 different sizes.

How do you prepare a design for printing and what does subli-flock printing look like?

The project carried out with this technique is first printed on sublimation paper and then sublimated into a special material and finally cut out the project along the outline. An outline must be added to each design printed using the subli-flock method. It is needed to cut out the desired shape on the cutting plotter. The outline can be any color, shape and different thickness.

How to prepare the design for printing and what is flex / flex printing with blocker / flock?

The design carried out with this technique is cut from single-color tinted foils. A limited palette of film colors is available.

Several colors of film can be used in a single print. In projects implemented with this technique, it is not necessary to add an outline. In this way we print inscriptions and graphics consisting of simple geometric shapes.

The project for printing should be submitted in vector graphics ( CDR 11, EPS, SVG ) – each color in a separate group/layer. If you submit a bitmap, an additional cost may be the preparation for printing.

What does the underside of the embroidery look like?

Under each embroidery on the inside, you can find a reinforcing backing made of fleece or paper.

The backing strengthens the embroidery made giving it a thick stitch, sharp edges and high resistance to washing.

When embroidering on thick, dense or stiff fabrics, such as blouses, towels or blankets, a paper backing is used, which washes out after the first wash.

On thinner or thinner fabrics, a fleece backing is added.

How to prepare the design for sticker printing?

Stickers are first printed on self-adhesive film and then cut along the outline with a cutting plotter. On one layer, prepare the elements for printing. This can be a bitmap or vector graphics. On the second layer cut outline so-called OPOS necessarily in vectors. Be sure to add bleeds. We recommend a minimum of 2 mm.

How is the design broken down into individual colors when screen printing?

We use design decolorization when printing photos or other multicolored images composed of pixels. Below is the process of breaking a bitmap into its component colors.

Why can the colors in sublimation printing differ from those set in the design?

Sublimation is a process in which inks go from a solid state directly into a gaseous state and combine with the substrate prepared for printing. It is during this reaction that color shades can change.

Before actual production, our quality control compares the finished print with the customer’s design. We try to get as close as possible to the colors expected by the customer. With sublimation printing, it is not possible to indicate the desired pantone numbers.

We encourage you to do a test run before actual production.

Is my design suitable for printing?

Formats of graphics that we accept for printing depending on the printing technique:

  • vector graphics ( .cdr, .eps, .ai, .pdf ) – each color in a separate group/layer.
  • graphics in bitmap (.png, .jpg) – in high resolution (200-300 dpi)

If the graphics are not in the right format for printing in a given technology or the bitmap is too poor in quality, our graphic designer can prepare such graphics from scratch for a fee. Pricing is individual and depends on the complexity of the project.

How to prepare the design for the production of sewn FULLPRINT T-shirts

The designs should be superimposed on the templates we have prepared – for each size separately.

Download the template here to prepare the design for printing

In case of difficulties, feel free to contact us – we will help 🙂
We can also prepare templates from graphics you send us in very good resolution (200-300 dpi) or from vector files.

Print files should be submitted according to the following guidelines:

  • please send the projects in 1:1 scale in jpg, 300 dpi, CMYK colors and additionally in an open file – possible “to edit” (cdr, eps, pdf)
  • the size of the graphics should be adjusted to the templates we provide. It must be exactly the same size as our blanks. They are in 1:1 scale.
  • graphics should be laid out according to the following visualization – “lay out on the use”.
  • there must not be our vector grid on the graphic. We print directly from the file you send us.
  • remember that the important elements of the prints should be at least 3 cm from the edge of the T-shirt (from the place where the T-shirt is sewn together). * there is a risk of not matching the graphic elements on the front with the graphic elements on the back and in the place of sewing the sleeves.
  • logo on the sleeve should be placed 5 cm from the bottom edge of the sleeve
  • computer simulations (mockup) of full-print t-shirts are for illustration purposes only.
  • graphics on the product may be moved +/- 2cm

When laying out the blanks for use, indicate the size. The example shows an XL shirt. Please prepare each size in a separate file.

How long does it take to complete an order?

Turnaround time mainly depends on the printing technology, the number of pieces and the number of orders waiting in the queue. We always try to complete an order as quickly as possible.

With screen printing, embroidery and pad printing, which we do the most of, the turnaround time is usually about 10 business days after payment for the order is credited.

With other techniques such as flex/flock film, sublimation, sublimation, DTG it is on average 4-7 business days after payment for the order.

We are able to process single pieces within 1-2 business days, depending on the number of orders at a time and whether we have the garment on site or need to bring it from a wholesaler (3-4 business days).

Express mode +15% of the net order value – the possibility is determined individually on the basis of production capabilities.

Additional services such as sewing in labels or accessories, attaching tags, graphic work may extend the term of the order.

What is the maximum area of screen printing on clothing?

The standard imprint size is 28 x 35 cm.

We can make a larger imprint, which is 30% more expensive than the standard one.

Colors available in various printing techniques

During the order process, one of the key issues is to determine the colors in detail. Depending on the printing technique, various options are available:

SCREEN PRINTING – numbers from the PANTONE SOLID COATED template (color part template).
DIGITAL PRINTING – CMYK / RGB
SUBLIMATION – CMYK
EMBROIDERY – MADEIRA brand thread (we can choose the color of thread as close as possible to the given Pantone Solid Coated color)
FLEX – number from our flex film template
FLOCK – number from our flock film template
