is now one of the most popular methods for decorating garments.

What has enthralled recipients so much and what is it anyway?

DTF transfer is the enhanced brother of DTG digital printing. The production process is very simple. We print the image on a special foil ( the maximum format is A3 ) and, using a free-flowing adhesive, transfer it onto a previously selected garment. Using a heat press, we fix the print and that’s basically it. You can wear the finished garment, wash it, wear it and nothing should happen to it for a long time 😉

DTF or DTG?

Now the question is, what is the difference between DTF and DTG? Among other things, the glue. The glue that is used for DTF transfer is thermoactive, giving flexibility and stretch to the print. DTF printing is definitely stronger than DTG printing. Another advantage is the possibility of decorating on textiles other than cotton, i.e. polyesters or other mixed materials. An additional advantage is the possibility of making DTF transfers on e.g. baseball caps, which is unfortunately not possible with DTG printing. But still, the most important advantage is the beautiful colour reproduction (with properly prepared graphics – RGB colours).
