How much does it cost to print on a T-shirt?

Seemingly a simple question, yet no single answer. I already explain why. The cost of printing on a T-shirt is affected by several factors. And these will be:

Design

this is the main determinant of the price. We need to see what the design looks like, how many colors does it consist of, does it have tonal transitions, gradients, what size does the print need to be? Once these questions are answered, it will be possible to choose the appropriate printing technique, and therefore the price will be known initially, but that’s not all….

Type of printing

we print with screen printing, DTG and DTF digital printing, we do sublimation, flex and flock thermal transfer. Each of these printing techniques has a separate price list.

In how many places is the printing to be done

just A4 print on the back or maybe a small logo on the chest? Or maybe printing on the front and back + both sleeves? For each such place of marking you will have to count an additional cost.

The circulation

is it known how many shirts there should be? Are we talking about 1 piece or 50? or maybe 500? You have probably already guessed that the larger the circulation, the price will decrease.

T-shirt color

if the printing is to be done on white shirts, it will be a little cheaper than on dark ones. This is due to the additional positioning of the backing with white color on colored T-shirts.

Deadline

if you are not in a hurry to complete the order, that’s great. In the case of an express order, a fee of 15% of the order value is added.

Individual valuation

there are also situations when orders for printing on T-shirts are very unusual. We must then approach such a valuation completely off the charts. Of course, with such a valuation, the customer is kept informed.

After obtaining answers to the above questions, it will be possible to make an accurate quote for the T-shirt printing itself. One more important point must be added. Namely, the T-shirts themselves.
