DTG digital printing

Up to now, when the need arose for multi-colour printing on one or more cotton T-shirts, we had subli-flock or dark laser no cut printing available.

Differences in printing techniques

The first technique is permanent, but it is not printed directly on the T-shirt, but on a special mesh-like material called flock. This technique works great on sweatshirts, but its texture does not suit everyone on t-shirts (find out more about this technique here).

The second one was not ideal because the print cracked and was washing out too quickly. So we decided to give up on no-cut printing and look for a better way to be able to make a permanent, multicolour print on cotton.

Full-colour DTG printing

This is how the idea of buying a printer to do DTG digital printing was born. We read a lot about DTG printing and the best printers for digital printing. After many consultations with specialists in the field, we decided on the Brother GTX PRO DTG printer.

Colours in DTG printing

We already know that this was a good choice. The DTG print looks great. The colours come out very nicely and the print itself is wash-proof (at a maximum of 40 degrees, as with any print).
